As an act of International Day of Persons with Disability celebration, Liepaja Society of Blind in cooperation with Liepaja city council and other non governmental organisations, organizes an excibition of crafts made by disabled persons which will be held at Liepaja city cauncil lobby.
These crafts will be exibited alongside other items produced in workshops of Liepaja Society of the Blind realized EEZ project „Be active and get involved!” No.2012.EEZ/PP/1/MAC/020.
Excibition will be opened from December 1 till December 4, 2014, from 8:30 till 17:00 o’clock and on December 5 till 16:00 o’clock.
3rd of December since 1993 has been celebrated as international day of persons with disability. It’s a day when people all over the world unite in common activities, that repeatedly emphasize problems of disabled and their possible solutions, that state and municipality institutions can use to demonstrate their attitude and good will in solving many acute questions. Nongovernmental organizations that represent persons with disabilities use this day for involving society in different campaigns, events and other activities.
