From the 8th to the 10th of August in the center of social rehabilitation and cognition in the countryside environment "Garden of Soul Relieve" in Ziemupe interested people can apply for "Health Days for adults with disabilities in 2018". "People with different types of disabilities over three days are invited to participate in specially organized workshops on the following themes:
• healthy lifestyle and nutrition
• mental health
• theoretical and practical knowledge of healthy exercise
• proper walking, swimming, cycling, including cycling and tricycles for people with disabilities.
Also, each participant of the event will have the opportunity to participate in adjusted physical activity for people with disabilities:
• gymnastics under the guidance of a physiotherapist
• gymnastics in a gym instructor pilot training
• Nordic walking
All participants of the event will have free meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner, including coffee breaks) during the three-day activities, as well as overnight stay in the big event tent or small tents (sleeping bags will also be available).
We ask all interested persons to apply for "Health Days for adults with disabilities in 2018" until 30 July (inclusive), calling to the Liepaja Society of the Blind phone 26056026 (Jeļena or Zanda) on working days from 10:00 to 16:00.
We inform you that the number of participants in the event is limited. Preferring those people with disabilities who will attend the event for the first time.
